Coaching/Showing
Fox Brook focuses on preparing horses and rider for success in the competitive arena. Competition is a highly rewarding aspect to the sport as it teaches planning, dedication, good sportsmanship and it is fun! Whether you’re looking to step up to a new division, make the switch from hunters to jumpers, qualify for equitation finals or simply improve your skills and have fun showing your horse in a low-key division, we can help you meet those goals. Fox Brook attends the Silver (Provincial) and Gold (A-Circuit) shows, as well as local Bronze schooling shows based on our clients needs.
Silver Series offers a pre-paid show pass which covers entry fees and stall rental for 5 shows. The pass includes 2 divisions, Equitation/Medal classes and 1 special class ie. Derby. Please see the Show Guide for estimations of the rest of the fees per show. You may opt to only attend 3-4/5 shows. It is still very good value even if you don't attend all shows and of course admin fees, supplies, trailering etc. will not be incurred if you do not attend.
A cost effective competition that allows skill development at great venues, Fox Brook attends Silver Series at Caledon Equestrian Park in Palgrave, Ontario. Pan Am Games were held here in 2015. This is a large venue with multiple show rings, warm-up rings, indoor washroom, shaded viewing areas with tables and chairs as well as a restaurant and bar. Located conveniently with access to restaurants, accommodations and amenities nearby such as Hockley Valley resort, Orangeville, Bolton and only an hour drive to downtown Toronto.
The top riders from each division will qualify for the year-end "Playoffs" held at Angelstone Tournaments in Erin, Ontario where all zones will come together to compete against the top in the province.
If you are not ready to commit to the full pass there is the option to show one show 'Wild Card' at Angelstone. This is the same format as the Silver pass but just for one show. Wild Card is a fun show with lots for the whole family. Last year they had movie nights in the Grand Prix ring and dance parties for the younger crowd.
